As a mother and daughter who love Asian food, we have always looked forward to fortune cookies. Unfortunately lately the fortunes inside the cookies, well, frankly, they've been lame. Most of the time they aren't even fortunes, more like philosophical guidance. Sure, there's nothing wrong with philosophical guidance, per se. But we believe what we everyone wants from a fortune cookie is an actual fortune.
